The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of family governance on buyer-supplier relationships (BSRs), specifically through studying the relationship between family governance and relationship quality, as measured by continuity. This study will help further understanding of the potential differences in how family and non-family firms engage with key stakeholders and examine the influence of organizational governance structure on the formation and maintenance of BSRs. The researchers will also examine family firms’ tendencies in selecting from diverse pools of suppliers.
